This holiday season I will tie bells to my shoelaces as I participate in the Jingle Bell Run/Walk® for Arthritis, a 5K fun run/walk to benefit the Arthritis Foundation. And YOU can help, too!

Won’t you sponsor me in my effort to raise funds to fight one of the nation’s most common causes of disability – ARTHRITIS? Arthritis affects more than 46 million Americans, including 300,000 children, costing the U.S economy over $128 billion annually. The Arthritis Foundation needs our help.

I am taking on a personal challenge to make a difference in our community by participating in the Arthritis Foundation's 2008 Jingle Bell Arthritis Walk/Run®. Thousands of people across the country will join together to help improve the lives of 46 million Americans including "ME" affected with doctor-diagnosed arthritis. The Arthritis Walk® will be led by inspirational men, women and children with arthritis wearing special santa honoree hats. We hope that you will support our efforts.

You say you want to help? Well, here's your chance. Help the Arthritis Foundation take steps toward finding new ways to prevent, control and even cure the more than 100 forms of arthritis and related diseases. You can take the first step toward supporting others by helping me reach my goal, and it's an easy way for you to become personally involved. Together we can improve lives. In the state of Tennessee alone there are 1.3 million adults affected by one of the forms of Arthritis and 6,000 children!!! Those numbers are staggering for a single state.

Donate with me for the cause because it really "hurts to be number 1"!!! Arthritis is our nation's number 1 disability.
